General conditions of sale

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to sales transactions (by telephone, email, internet or directly) concluded by the Hotel Le Printemps with the Customer.
It is therefore imperative that the Customer carefully reads the T&Cs which are referenced on the site and/or on their booking confirmation.
1 USE OF THE PREMISES

The hotel has the freedom not to receive customers whose dress is indecent or neglected, customers who behave noisy or incorrectly, customers whose behavior is contrary to good morals and public order.
The customer accepts and undertakes to use the room with the care of a reasonable person. The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises, both in the room and in the common areas, and use them in accordance with their intended purpose.
The customer accepts and undertakes to return the accommodation in good condition. Any damage caused to the room, the hotel equipment or the common areas may result in penalties.
Also, any behavior contrary to good morals will lead the hotel to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any refund if a payment has already been made. In the event that no payment has yet been made, the customer must pay the price of the night(s) consumed before leaving the establishment.
2 PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros. VAT is included in the rates offered. Any change in the applicable rate or any modification or introduction of new taxes will be automatically carried over to the prices indicated on the invoice date.
The rates are per room, for the number of people indicated and according to the selected period. The prices indicated only include the services strictly mentioned in the reservation.
The price mentioned in the reservation will be added to the additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay, if applicable, and the tourist tax. The tourist tax rate is set by the competent authorities, any change will of course be reflected in the prices indicated.
The prices mentioned on the site are subject to change at any time by the hotel without prior information or notice. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.
No stay booked before the implementation of a promotional offer will be subject to reimbursement, even partial.
The prices set by the hotel may freely differ depending on the booking channel: direct establishment, third-party platform, website.
3 RESERVATIONS
The customer agrees to provide the hotel with his/her first name, last name, telephone number, email address and credit card number. Otherwise, the customer's request cannot be processed.
Reservations can be made on our website www.hotel-le-printemps.com, by phone, email, directly on site, or via the booking.com website.
On the partner booking website, the hotel offers refundable and non-refundable rates for which you must refer to the associated and clearly stipulated T&Cs. Payment of the entire reservation will be made to the website, only the tourist tax will be collected from the establishment. Your credit card details will be used by the site.
For reservations made directly with the hotel, whether on the site, by email, or by telephone, a deposit of 40% of the reservation will be required.
-For online reservations, the deposit will be payable directly on our site via the secure stripe platform.
-For reservations made by telephone, the customer must provide their credit card numbers so that a Distance Selling payment transaction can be carried out. The Hotel Le Printemps is listed with the banking authorities for VAD and therefore undertakes not to retain or disclose the elements transmitted.
-Customers who do not wish to transmit their credit card information by telephone must imperatively book directly via the hotel's website.
In application of the provisions of article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the services offered are not subject to the application of the right of withdrawal provided for in articles L121-21 et seq. of the Consumer Code regarding distance selling.
In the event of interruption of stay and this whatever or the rate booked, no refund will be made. In the event of early departure, the stay initially booked will be due in full. Any cancellation or modification must comply with the T&Cs.
In the event of unavailability of the hotel or in the event of force majeure, the latter reserves the right to accommodate the Client in whole or in part in a hotel of an equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be the responsibility of the hotel, which cannot be sought for payment of any additional compensation.
4 CANCELLATION POLICY
Confirmation of the reservation entails acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions and acknowledgement of having read them.

In application of the provisions of article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the services offered are not subject to the application of the right of withdrawal provided for in articles L121-21 et seq. of the Consumer Code regarding distance selling.
Several scenarios arise in the event of cancellation:
-Rooms can be canceled and refunded up to 48 hours before the arrival date at 4 p.m. In the event of cancellation within the time limit, the customer will be reimbursed their deposit within ten days of their request.
*If the customer booked online, their account will be credited directly.
*If the customer booked by telephone via a VAD, a check will be sent to them.
-For any cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival, the deposit is due and no refund will be made.
In the event of late cancellation and no-show, the credit card will be debited for the price of the stay.
5 ARRIVAL AND ACCESS TO THE ROOMS
The hotel may ask the customer for an identity document, in particular to prove that the customer is of legal age.
The reservation must be in the customer's name.
The reservation officially takes effect from 4 p.m. on the day of the customer's arrival and ends at 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
Concerned with providing the greatest service, in the event that the room is ready and Regardless of the guest's arrival time, the hotel will do its utmost to give them their keys upon arrival.
Early check-ins and late check-outs can only be granted by the hotel management if and only if availability and other organizational criteria allow it, and at the sole discretion of the management.
Access to the rooms is until 8 p.m. Beyond this, the customer must have contacted the hotel for the possible organization of an autonomous arrival at the discretion of the management.
6 RECEPTION
The reception is open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At night, customers are given an emergency telephone number, the only number accessible for any difficulty. The other telephone numbers of the establishment are on answering machine.
7 PROHIBITIONS
The hotel reminds that the ban on smoking and vaping has been in force in all public places since January 2, 2008.
The hotel is an entirely non-smoking area including on the corridors.
The only smoking areas are the outdoor areas equipped with ashtrays.
In the event of damage due to non-compliance with this rule (odor, inability to re-let the room due to the smell of tobacco, triggering of alarms, etc.), the costs will be borne by the customer.
8 CLEANING
A quick cleaning of the rooms is carried out every day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The customer must refer to the instructions posted in the room regarding the change of bathroom linen. The customer who does not want the hotel teams to access his room must clearly indicate this at reception.
In the event of soiling or excessive damage, an additional amount may be charged.
9 ANIMALS
Pets are only accepted in the superior terrace and classic terrace rooms, i.e. in rooms 31 to 34 and 41 to 45.
The management must however be notified in advance and reserves the right to refuse any animal whose characteristics would be incompatible with a place receiving the public or among other things with the size of the room.
Pets must be kept on a leash in the establishment and accompanied outside for all their dropping needs, including urine. Otherwise, cleaning will be the responsibility of the customer.
It is also specified that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room.
10 MINORS
Minors alone cannot claim to reserve a room.
Parents are responsible for their minor children.
11 BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served every day from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. It is at a single price of 8 euros and must be ordered the day before before 8 p.m.
Breakfast is exclusively sweet with fresh bread and pastries.
12 LOSS THEFT
The establishment cannot be held responsible for objects lost or stolen during the customer's stay.
13 PARKING
The establishment has a few parking spaces exclusively reserved for disabled rooms.
Reservations are always made without a parking space.
The rule is that no vehicle accesses the hotel's inner courtyard without prior agreement from management, which will not have to justify its decision to allocate it to customers.
14 FORCE MAJEURE
The hotel cannot be held responsible for damage caused by a delay or failure due to a case of force majeure or an event beyond its control, such as, in particular, without that this list is exhaustive: act of public authority, hostilities, war, natural disaster, containment measures, fire, flood, strike, epidemic, pandemic, power or gas supply cut, heating system failure, etc.
In the event that the hotel's performance of its obligations contained herein is hindered by such a case of force majeure or similar, the hotel will immediately notify the customer who will not be able to claim any compensation on this account. The parties shall do everything possible to prevent or reduce the effects of a breach of contract caused by such an event.
15 APPLICABLE LAW
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
