Saint-Georges-de-Didonne

The Hotel Le Printemps is located in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne just 50 meters from the fine sandy beach. On the beach, you will find a sailing school. The must-see monument of St Georges de Didonne is the Phare de Vallières from where you will have a panoramic view of the region. You can climb to the top of the Lighthouse, after climbing the 144 steps. In winter, you will have a covered market from Tuesday to Sunday. On Thursday evenings during the summer, discover the night market installed on the seafront. On the Place de la République, discover the traditional market every Friday morning.

La Rochelle

Less than 80 kilometers from our charming hotel near Royan, you will have the city of La Rochelle. Many activities will be on the program of your visit to La Rochelle. We particularly advise you to discover the Old Port of La Rochelle and the monuments of the city: the Lantern Tower, the Chain Tower, the Saint-Nicolas Tower, the Saint-Louis Cathedral and the Halles de La Rochelle . One of the must-sees in La Rochelle is the aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in Europe with nearly 12,000 different species.

Royan

Our hotel establishment is located at the gates of the city of Royan. Among the city's must-sees, we recommend that you discover the Notre-Dame de Royan church, the Pontaillac district and the Grande Conche beach. During your visit, stop by the Royan central market. The market is covered and displays good and beautiful products from the region. Leave with a souvenir of the region by visiting this emblematic market. The Palmyre Zoo is located very close to Royan, it is a unique activity to do with family or friends.

Oleron Island

During your stay at the Hôtel Le Printemps, stop by the Île d’Oléron. You will enjoy walking or cycling around the island and exploring the Route des Huîtres. You will have the chance to discover the Citadel of Château d’Oléron, the Port des Salines and the Chassiron Lighthouse. We look forward to seeing you on the Île d’Oléron during the Mimosa Festival. Very close to the Île d’Oléron, you will discover the famous forts: the Fort Louvois and the Fort Boyard.

Island of Re

The Île de Ré is located near our hotel near Royan. Explore the Île de Ré and discover all its treasures, such as the Phare des Baleines, the Atelier Quillet, the Fort la Prée, the salt marshes, the Île de Ré bridge and the Châteliers Abbey. By bike or on foot, explore the Lilleau des Niges National Nature Reserve, with its resplendent flora and fauna. Fill your basket with all the region's specialties by visiting the Bois-Plage market, the largest on the island.

Near

From Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, you can easily take the boat to reach the other side of the Gironde. You can go to Soulac-sur-Mer and Montalivet. Soulac is an ideal seaside resort for families and fans of water activities. We particularly recommend that you discover the Basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin-des-Terres. Montalivet has 12 kilometers of beaches, 40 kilometers of hiking trails, 30 kilometers of cycle paths and 6,000 hectares of forests.
